We are currently travelling through East Africa using our Aquapure Traveller as our main source of water (filtering water form the Nile River, mountain streams as well as a wide range of hotel taps) and so far we have remained free of any exciting water borne pathogens.
The only problem is that we are reaching the end of the life of our filter and my hands are starting to ache from the exertion of trying to squeeze the water through it.
I think it will last for another few weeks which will take us to the the top of Mt Kenya and back but we will need a new one before the end of our trip.
I really hope that we can get a new filter because so far it has saved us alot of money because we don't have to buy (or carry) bottled water.
