Setting off back in 2003 on her 57th birthday, Veteran adventurer Rosie Swale-Pope began her most ambitious journey to date. Rosie is running across the globe on a self sustained, non stop epic marathon - and shes going it solo.
4 Years on and Rosie has completed a staggering three quarters of her journey having run across Europe, Russia, America and has just landed in Greenland for the final leg. Rosie hopes to cross Greenland and then Iceland before flying to scotland and running south back to her home in Tenby. Finishing her amazing run on the 1st of June 2008.

In the aftermath of war in Kosovo and the Balkans, Aquapure Traveller, which produces safe pure drinking water from any source: river, stream or even silt laden swamp, has been put to the ultimate test by lone adventurer Rosie Swale-Pope. Rosie relied totally on Aquapure Traveller for her drinking water throughout her 900 kilometre solo, unsupported run exploring the boundaries of a peace park to be set up in Kosovo, Montenegro and Northern Albania.
Rosie says of Aquapure Traveller "I can hardly describe how much it meant to me to be able to fill up the bottle from ditches and streams in Kosovo and have it come out tasting delicious, crystal clear and above all safe". As Rosie carried all her supplies for the monumental journey on her back every ounce of weight counted. Rosie says "in areas such as the Albanian Alps the going was extremely difficult and without aquapure traveller I couldn't have carried enough water for the journey...it became one of my greatest allies".
While much of the region is wild, beautiful and remote some of the water Rosie had to drink in Kosovo came from streams heavily polluted with refuse and dead animals in a country still littered with land mines and the refuse of war. Despite these "nightmare" conditions Rosie says she "remained 100% healthy" thanks in large part to Aquapure Traveller..
