Break Free From The Pack
Pure Hydration launches the Armoured Reservoir

Pure hydration (http://www.purehydration.co.uk ) based in Farnham, Surrey, will be launching its latest hydration pack, the Armoured Reservoir, at the massive Outdoor Show in Friedrichshafen, Germany on the 17-20th of July.

Unlike the vast majority of hydration packs, which are worn on the back like a rucksack, the Armoured Reservoir is a protected water holder that can be simply slung into a backpack or Bergen pocket. Available in either 2 or 3 litre sizes, it is made from Pure Hydration’s Armour weave material so it is tough enough to resist puncturing and tearing from objects such as keys and pens. In addition it will not wear thin from being pulled in and out on a regular basis. The Armoured Reservoir is also compatible with Pure Hydration’s inline filter – which is capable of purifying 350 litres of water, so you can fill it from streams and rivers and still drink safely.

Jon Grant, Managing Director of Pure Hydration, explained why they created the Armoured Reservoir: 
“Our customers were often buying TPU bladders on their own because they didn’t want to carry a complete hydration pack. The problem with this is that these reservoirs are not designed for this purpose and can easily be punctured and regularly need replacing. With the Armoured Reservoir there is no need to splash out on repeatedly replacing your reservoirs over and over again.”

The Armoured Reservoir is just one of many products being showcased at the event. The Pure Hydration range includes their renowned Aquapure Traveller portable filter and the rugged Aquasak hydration pack.

The Armoured Reservoir is launched at the Outdoor Show in Friedrichshafen, Germany on 17-20 July 2008.
