I was really pleased with the Aquapure Traveller. The major benefit it afforded was peace of mind. We were told that the desalinated water was OK to drink but that an upset tummy was a possibility. That alone was almost enough to give me one!
But using only water that had resided in the Traveller for more than 15 mins meant that all was well. The taste (and appearance) was good. No salty component. The colour was good too - clear - whereas the water out of the tap seemed less transparent.
I would be interested to hear if your R&D team agree the tap water would have been OK. In any event, as stated in my note to you when I sent the water sample and the Aquapure Traveller, I walk a lot and take my 2 dogs with me so I shall take the device on such occasions and less water from home.
