Guyanese rainforest

Pure Hydration are proud sponsors of Phil Hatcher. Phil is attempting an audacious expedition into the heart of the Guyanese rain forest. Tough enough? Phil is doing this solo. No friends, no colleagues, no support and the nearest backup is four hours' boat ride away. Oh, and he's staying for six months. 183 days with just a video camera for company. No ipod, no books, no internet, no TV. Just the daily tribulations of living in the jungle for company.

A fortnightly "dead drop" will chronicle his progress and challenges. This enables fresh batteries and memory cards to be provided and the old ones taken away without any human contact.

Phil is using Aquapure Travellers and a Thirst Aid Bag.
