On a charity trek in the jungles of Thailand in November 2004. Our drinking water was bottled, but you can't be sure how safe it is. I felt much more relaxed about drinking plenty of water using my Aquapure Traveller.
My only concern is that the spout part may pick up contaminants from the ground, walking through rivers, etc. And although you could keep it in a rucksack pocket, that means it's not so easily accessible.
I'm back in the UK now, and use the bottle regularly still - it's a good way of making sure that I drink plenty at home, at work, and of course out walking.
